Hospital

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center located in Jasper

Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center offers a comprehensive range of acute medical services in a 131-bed facility located on Ninth Street in Jasper. As a regional health center with over 80 active staff physicians and more than 1,350 employees, Memorial Hospital serves Dubois and surrounding counties in southern Indiana . Under the sponsorship of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, the hospital annually provides care for nearly 8,000 inpatients and 196,000 outpatients including nearly 29,000 emergency patients. One thousand babies were born at Memorial Hospital in 2007. The hospital has received national recognition recently including the 2004 Solucient/Thomson 100 Top Hospitals® Award; the 2007 Select Practice National Quality Award; and 2007 “ Five-Star Hospital ” designation.
