Q. How long does it take to process my permit?
A. The Executive Secretary shall examine the application and accompanying information and the premises upon which the ign is proposed to be located, and if it shall appear that the proposed sign is in compliance with all the requirements of this Section and any other applicable Sections, the Executive Secreatr shall then issue a permit.
 
Q. How long is the permit valid?
A. Permits shall be valid for a period of one (1) year, and all work for which the permit had been issued shall be completed withing that period of time. If work has not been completed withing the one (1) year period, it shall be necessary for the applicant to apply for another permit, just as if no previous permit had been issued.
 
Q. How long is a temporary permit valid?
A. A temporary permit shall no be valid for more than thirty (30) days or forty eight (48) hours after the advertised event, whichever occurs earlier. If a permit for a temporary sign is issued, a new permit application for said permises shall not be issued until thrity (30) days after expiration of the prior permit.
 
Q. What are the fees for the permit?
A. The permit fee for a permanent sign is $25. The permit fee for a temporary sign is $5.
 
The Executive Secretary shall refuse to issue any sign permit to any permittee or owner who refuses to pay any costs so assessed.
